DIVORG - a dividing organism shows 10 animations. The origin of each animation is a sculpture or 3D painting created by Noa Ry herself. Through the further development to animation, the works are breathed into life.
They wake up to arguments, to thinking, to screaming for their mother or to looking us straight in the face. As a spectator, one experiences a newly gained intimacy with the now living beings, an insight into their private moment.
Divorg is the fusion of "analogue" and "digital".
For the 3D paintings and sculptures Noa Ry works a lot with Ceramic plast, computer circuit boards and silicone. For the animations Noa Ry uses different App’s combined with each other on the iPhone 11 as a tool. It also includes real face time animation mapping. Noa Ry reproduces her facial expressions and thus penetrate her 3D painting/sculpture once again into the depths of the total fusion of art and artist. Technology and human flesh.
